Ferro Manganese (FeMn)

Ferro Manganese (FeMn) is an important ferroalloy composed of Manganese (Mn) and Iron (Fe). It is primarily used as a deoxidizer and desulfurizer in steelmaking. Produced through carbothermic reduction in submerged arc furnaces, Ferro Manganese enhances the mechanical properties of steel, improving hardness, strength, and wear resistance.

What KRISHHON FERRO ALLOYS Ferro Manganese (FeMn) used for

  • Essential for deoxidation and desulfurization in steel production. Increases steel's hardness, ductility, and tensile strength. Helps in the production of low-carbon, medium-carbon, and high-carbon steels.
  • Improves grain structure and machinability of cast products. Enhances resistance to abrasion and wear.
